2000 Mardi Gras Pictures

Tee-Mamou Mardi Gras in Iota, March 7, 2000

When the Tee-Mamou Mardi Gras parade rolls through Iota during the annual Folklife Festival on Mardi Gras Day, the scene is always filled with colorful excitement. This year, the Mardi Gras were armed with candy that they tossed, or sometimes hurled, at the crowd. Also shown on this page are pictures of the  Les Tout Petit Mardi Gras dancing on the stage about 2 p.m.  and a new picture of LSUE's Anita Dupre at the Catholic Daughters of America booth.
